Poker Peace

Poker Peace is a mobile platform designed to redefine the online poker experience for women by providing a sophisticated, low-stakes environment focused on education and community. Traditional poker applications, such as the World Series of Poker app, often rely on overstimulating, “Vegas-style” aesthetics, characterized by aggressive colors and chaotic interfaces that can feel unwelcoming or exclusionary to new players. My project challenges this industry standard by introducing a modern, minimalist design language that prioritizes clarity and calm over sensory overload.

Catered specifically to women, Poker Peace addresses the social friction often encountered in male-dominated tournament spaces. By removing the “chaos” and potential intimidation found in mainstream online rooms, the app allows users to master the game’s mechanics and strategy at their own pace. The visual identity utilizes a soft yet professional palette to create a sanctuary for learning. Poker Peace transforms poker from a high-pressure gamble into an modern tool for empowerment, ensuring that the only thing a player needs to focus on is her next move.
