Between Days

Between Days is a community driven newsletter focused on shared experiences, storytelling, and connection. The goal of this project is to respond to the isolation many people feel when navigating their own thoughts, believing they’re alone, or not having someone to understand. By calling for reader submissions, Between Days creates a space where personal stories become collective, allowing the reader to see themselves in others.

The newsletter includes sections that balance vulnerability with relatability and lighter themes. Community submitted stories are the core of each issue, offering anonymous, varied perspectives on hard times and emotions. The commentary and rant sections explore personal challenges, how your emotions are viewed by others, and the frustration of being misunderstood by others. These sections aim to validate the reader, or provide a space of learning empathy through reading other perspectives and experiences.

To offset heavier themes, Between Days incorporates hope along with playful illustrations, color, and design elements that bring approachability to the newsletter. Through this blend of content, Between Days encourages empathy and validation while intending to bring the stigma around mental health closer to an end.
